La Obra, The Work

This monumental project is located at the foot of the Sierras of Paravachasca, as called by the natives of this area. It’s modern name of Alta Gracia home of the Spanish settlements. Cordoba City was first settled in 1599 by The Jesuits and founded the first National University in 1599. Their knowledge and techniques shaped the city and the surrounding areas.

La Obra is dedicated in memory of the great Renaissance Man, Don Erasmo Stivala, 1931-2014

 
 

purpose

To leave a mark in the landscape of Alta Gracia with a flare of Rustic Baroque style that represent the era of the Spanish settlements.

Design

Using the technics, the Jesuits brought from Europe that was pass to the natives of this land.

Legacy & History

This is the product of 23 years of evolution in designing this one-of-a-kind structure that makes a reference to the history of the Jesuit city of Paravachasca, (Alta Gracia)
